BIFAN is proud to present “William Friedkin Talks”, a master class featuring one of the greatest genre filmmakers ever. An invaluable complimentary piece to the documentary Leap of Faith by Alexandre O. Philippe, this pre-recorded, up close and personal interview with the master director is only available to the audiences of BIFAN and will follow Mr. Philippe's documentary. This is a one of a kind opportunity to hear from the master director on his wisdom and worldly view on films, arts, religion and society in general.

We are living in times when the kind of future that once only existed in our imaginations has abruptly become our reality. The prognostications of eight directors about the present, or future, which will soon come upon us, are making their way to BIFAN this year in the form of an “original South Korean science fiction anthology series” titled SF8. The SF8 series, a collaboration between MBC, Directors Guild of Korea (DGK) and Wavve, will be screened in a theater at the 2020 BIFAN. Following the screening of each episode, the audience will have an opportunity to meet the directors, actors, actresses, and crew members of each episode and talk about their production.

This project was created as part of the TikTok For Good program through industry-academia cooperation between TikTok and Korea National University of Arts. As the first season of the series, a total of 10 works covering a variety of topics have been produced.
