Ellen Y.D. KIM (Asian cinema)
Majored in aesthetics and cultural studies. She first began working in film in the late ¡®90s at a cinema society called Culture School Seoul. From 2001, she worked as a programmer of Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival for 4 years. After experiencing in various film-related fields including film market, production companies, as well as film acquisition, she returned to the festival in 2016, and has been working as a programmer since then. She has produced Cry Woman, a film premiered in the Un Certain Regard at 2002 Cannes Film Festival; Hannan, which won the best new director award at the 2014 Taipei Film Festival; and worked as a co-producer on director HONG Sang Soo¡¯s Night and Day.
Jongsuk Thomas NAM (Cinema from English-speaking countries, B.I.G Organizer)
Jongsuk Thomas NAM majored in RTVF/Communication Arts. He returned to Korea from the US to be an assistant director for the film Jungle Story. He worked for the Busan Film Festival from 1997 on as the coordinator of the Kim Kiyoung Retrospective, a festival coordinator at BIFF, and the senior coordinator of the Pusan Promotion Plan (PPP). After working as the general secretariat of the Network for the Promotion of Asian Cinema (NETPAC), he joined the Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival in 2007 as a staff member and also worked for the festival as an expert adviser. He is currently a festival programmer for BIFAN and the managing director of the Network of Asian Fantastic Films (NAFF). He also works as the curator for the After Dark section of the Jio MAMI Mumbai Film Festival.
MO Eunyoung (Korean cinema)
MO Eunyoung majored in film theory and animation theory. She was a writer for EBS programs such as Cinema Paradiso and Anitopia, and she contributed to magazines and daily newspapers such as FILM2.0, DVD2.0, and KINO as a film critic. She also worked as a programmer for Korean Film Archive Cinematheque KOFA for multiple years after it first opened. She has also organized a number of fusion performances that join classic films with various genres, such as the silent film narration performance of Crossroad of Youngsters.
Jay KIM (VR programmer)
Jay KIM majored in literature and film. He is currently planning and producing films and immersive content. Additionally, as the head curator for BIFAN¡¯s XR program, Beyond Reality, Jay leads the festival¡¯s New Media program.
Jin PARK (Cinema from Europe and other territories)
Jin PARK studied film theory and criticism. He worked as a critic for film magazines such as KINO, FILM2.0, and Screen. He has worked for several film festivals including BIFAN, DMZDOCS and Busan International Film Festival.
